So i just downloaded TS. I enter the info and leave login name blank and whatnot. When i press connect a message will appear saying "Socket Error#11004. What does this mean and how do i connect?

Socket Error 11004 means your ISP's DNS server was unable to resolve the IP of the TS server. Either the TS server is down, you put the wrong IP, or your ISP's DNS servers are screwed up.

If you are sure the server is up, try switching to a alternative DNS server. Use OpenDNS. You can find out how here: https://www.opendns.com/start/computer/
