Webcam is great no need of changing

no need of external HDD because they put you that USB 1.0 slow one -_- trust me

and you will get OS on him but i suggest you download Vista Home Premium (( a great OS i had it but spends alot of RAM ))

9 cell battery will stick out in the back of teh laptop I would go for 9 cell (because its duration is 5+ hrs )

but i can't tell you precisely because duration is all about how do you set your brightnes or audio ( higher you go more battery absorbing )
