ArmA2 : Armed Assault 2 (From the creaters of original Operation Flashpoint:CWC)

The one thing I foudn with OFP and ARMA, and I suspect with ARMA2 is the inability to jump which means a small wall might as well be 20ft high as far as movement is concerned.

This was one of the biggest problems I had when developing addons for OFP, and then ARMA.  if ARMA2 fixes a way to allow obstacles to be crossed without bringing in bunny hoping (this I believe is why jumping is not in) then I might go for it.

Apparently it's not a game, it's a military simulator, so i doubt these things will be fixed as they were probably implemented for realism.I can't really say though. I don't think this game will be like any other game and it probably has to be your genre to like it. I'm sick of run and gun games, that's why i want to try this.

From what I have seen and heard it's the antithesis of counterstrike, never played AA so i don't know if it's similar to that.

CBF I heard there is jumping in this game, i'll try and find the source, untill then don't take that as reliable.
