Computer started to lag massivly after Graphic card change

Hello, I am asking help from here cause lines at computer workshop are like half month long, the situation is that my Graphic card 8600gt got changed to 9500gt and after this my computer started to lag massivly, I formatted my PC wich didint help, I downloaded newest driver from www.nvidia.com but nothing helps

Even simple things lag for example audio file running alone LAGS some times abit, If I open network too then it will start to lag massivly and theres not a thing I can do about it. Maybe someone has had same problem in here and could help me cause I really dont wanna wait half month at repair again...

btw I called them and they said 9500gt should fit my computer and they got no idea what causes this.

Please tell me you arent running Windows 7..
i am atm and ive got the same issue with it, i managed to fix it so call me over MSN if youre also on Windows 7...   ;)

Why you even changed from 8600GT to 9500GT? its actually worse, just new chipset.

its guarantee they had no 8600gt so they placed in 9500gt...

Maybe Your motherboard Cant run that Card ? in the same way it can run 8000 Series

happend to me once i changed to 8800 its Works Perfect

Hope it get fixed

Late reply, but will reply anyway..
8600 GT is better than 9500 GT... Go to the store and tell that to them if they didn't know it..
WHAT ARE THE REST OF YOUR COMPONENTS IN YOUR PC? No matter what the guy in the store says, if you have a problem, you tell the components to us IF you want any help..

Try this too: Un-install drivers with (example driversweeper) and install newest graphics drivers (no, uninstalling it from control panel or nvidia's own uninstall won't uninstall them "totally")
