So I connect to SA:MP server my internet is fine it's all working server is online but when i get to the screen with the Pier it keeps saying "The server didn't respond" it's been doing this for the past 10-20mins I've tried reinstalling SA:MP Client (yes i have the lastest version) and even disconnected my router.

Anyone else experienced this and can help?

1. running on vista/7
Run the samp.exe found in C:\program files\Rockstar games\GTA San andreas\ as Admin, then Set compatability to Windows XP
2. Firewall/Antivirus blocked
Unblock the SA-MP and add it to exceptions
3. Version mismatch
your gta:sa must be 1.0, no patch shall be added.
SA-MP version must match with server.

Clean up all mods installed, see if it works
