Server Lag !!

What? Everyone i know in server experience it

That is your computer lagging. How about no.
Still your computer.

If your video is lagging, that is your computer. If it's not lagging, but other skins are desynced and chat is slow, that is network/internet lag.

Wrong, server is stable with 70 players~ 100+ , slideshow a.k.a when people driving they hit walls and crash for you but actually they dont'.... It has nothing to do with your PC. This lagg has been here since RS4 was released. 0.3 didn't fix it, it only fixed the crashes but not the lag...


EDIT: Try it yourself, when 100+ on, drive next to each other 3-4 guys and see if it's a "slideshow"

Well server is not laggin atleast not the chat.. But cars are lagging you see cars driving over streets at 80 Degrees we didnt had that in 0.2X. We see players infront of us then behind us then right of us. My ping is 30-37 and i have a great internet connexion. Alote of players with a good pc and ping spotted this lagg Its 0.3 I hope it will be fixed in 0.3B. Even with only 40 players on. i spotted this lagg i talk by TS with people and they confirm they see the same. Alote of visual lagg also. but i don't think scripters can fix taht its their since 0.3 cames out..

I've played on another server since the RC of 0.3 was out, and they upgraded to 500 players.  I played many times on that server, and I still do play there.  There's constantly around 200 + people online at almost any one time.  I highly doubt it's 0.3 that would be causing this lag.

We definately need to take into consideration where the server is in location compared to our players, and how good the server host is at providing us with the necessary bandwidth and such.

You got a point, however this lagg started when RS4 was released not SA-MP 0.3 client.

Also you might want to add another cause of lag. That is: SERVER WEATHER SETTING!

Settings w/ low lag:
Clear, Cloudy, and daytime.


Settings w/ high lag:
Foggy, Sandstorm, Rain, T-Storm, Nighttime.


Well for me, I used my friend's $1200 laptop, and had a excellent wired internet connection, and I played in the server when there is only 25-75 players, and it had one of the "bad weather settings" I listed above, and I lagged as (CENSORED)!!! Now you see what I'm addressing about the other lag producer?

Yeah i Agree with this but there are nothing i can see the devlopers can do about it

Server does lag not me or anyone else :/ i got 16mbit connection and good PC so yeah. not moaning but infroming.
