Like suspects wait when a cop crashes

It's not bug abusing. It's another thing which pisses people of, but is totally allowed. (like bunny hoping)

No, I'll give an example:

You are following a guy trough LS, LV and in BC you crash. No other units around. I can count the people who would wait for the cop on one hand.

If I notice the cop crash, I would wait, but it's quite hard to know if a cop crashes or just waiting for backup.
I say, don't put any rules about it.

That way, if a player wants to be known as good, fair-playing guy, he will try to not take too much of an advantage after a crash.
Well, Yeah you can choose which players you want to roleplay with and which you don't want to roleplay with. but It's a bit harder to choose which cops that should chase you :P

I have posted this before and there are not gonna be any rules on this.

My opinion: Freecops don't even do this. It's usually Cadets and Officers. Anyway, I think it should be allowed, only if the cop enters his own vehicle after the suspect is back in the server. Also, in some areas it's crowded and other cops arrive to the scene. They will start blasting away (spawnkilling) instantly when they see him because they don't listen or don't care what the cop was doing. Only then a cop should not enter this suspect's vehicle. This may be complicated but I think this is the most ethical way of handling this situation.

you should agree doing the same when EVERY cop crashes!!

are you kinda dumb or cant you read ?? sorry if i sound offending but i role play a criminal allot so mutch that i get some times pretty pissed of cops not becous the pwn me i don't care about that its the way how the do it by using a crash or a hp bug for themselves

or some even come 100 times back its allot i know but how fair is dead when i die i cant help my friend the can ...

anyway back to the point why i started this whole replie ok JayL for Example i am unarmed in a cheeta 5 ARPD cops with MP5 behind me one of them crashes i stop you wanna know what happends then i get shot to shit !!!!by the 4 other cops and if i tell them wait one of your partheners crashed the are like whe dont give a shit becosu the ARPD sucks at team work atleast most parts not all

now Second posibillity 5 cops behind me i crqash i come back my car is gone and i am frozen and the all are around me with pepper spray how fair is that ??

then you say hey you dont do it when cops crash OFC NOT becous i already have 5 other cops behind me if it was just 1 i dint mind to wait i even do that but if another cops i run again !!!

so in my opinion YES its Exstreemly bug abuse if cops do it Criminals wil never wait for the cop to return and then shoot the hell out of them and even steal ther cazr whats quite inpossible

anyway thats what i wanted to say about it

Agreed, cops should give criminals time to escape after a crash.

Crashes have been reduced in 0.3a. Actually I count it as player's problem if he crashes, because some crashes might be caused by players (like leaving lights mod on and leaving the vehicle away) and so on. From the cops it would be nice if they would allow suspect to run, but actually it's their choice to do so or not to do so. As mentioned before - not only the suspects crashes. Also, if it would be implented as a rule, it wouldn't be possible to enforce it.

If anyone crashes, criminals don't stop to let cops catch up, and cops don't let criminals get back in their vehicle. This is balanced as it is. Why complicate the rules even more for such minor advantages?
