I've seen a certain bunch of people use the term 'ZOMG-rper' to describe people that attempt their best to try to act like they would in real life.
Now, the people who are getting provoked by that term have done nothing to 'earn' their name. They just try to have fun by roleplaying like any other Argonath community member.
As Que stated somewhere, they are not going around telling people that they are 'elite' and only a few people actually call others 'non-RPers'. The 'non-RPer' flame actually comes from people who don't know what real roleplay is. If the 'ZOMG-RPers' don't like how someone roleplays, they just don't roleplay with the said person to avoid a flamewar.
Now, as I said: A few people are calling a certain group of people 'ZOMG-rpers' with the intent of offending said people. They also say that the said group of people should 'GTFO' the server as it's not Argonath's type of roleplay.
I personally thought that Argonath is a realm of free roleplay and people can roleplay however they want - be it aliens, zombies or real life as long as they don't force the roleplay. Carhartt only forced his style of roleplay on the people who agreed to join his faction and he didn't force people to roleplay with him yet people think he did.
ZOMG-rper is a term as offensive as the terms freecop and non-RPer. non-RPer is MOSTLY used by people butthurt that the person they tried to rob drove away in a car and who had no background information on the person who just escaped.
My honest belief is that ZOMG-rper is not considered offensive by the people who stand by Aragorn as he appears to have 'coined' the offensive term.
