History of Hippies

Summer

It was the early 90's when I first got into the big city. I had no job, no cash, no car, no house - nothing, started from zero. And yes, I was a hippy, alot of people didn't understand me and my abilites to accomplish something good for the human nature. So, no-one wanted to hire me for their corporations / companies. I had to make my way through the harsh world, by living with carbage next to Los santos city hall. The next two years were, very hard for me, I had to pull myself together and somehow manage to live, the winter was the hardest part of the year, where I needed to find warm place, and I made friends only with local hobo's. Then in one lucky day, I found newspaper laying on the ground, the newspaper contained advertisement which stated that " Giving away my old camper, all intrested persons should contact me through phone or get front of the city hall, in the next four hours ". As I saw that, my hands frozened, I was shocked, but then started to run for my life to get into city hall on-time. After 4 minutes I got front of city hall, and searched for the person with camper. I didn't find anyone, and felt dissapointed. Then suddenly the camper was front of my eyes, and a kind, handsome woman step out of the car, and smiled at me. We started to have conversation and after a long chat, she gave me the car keys, it was autumn, winter was coming, and that was the happiest day of my life so far.

Winter

As I got my car, I had to find to make money for petrol and food, and ofcourse for new clothes, if I wanted ever to get a job. I started to search for job from a local newspaper, and quite soon found that Ganton Binco, needed new staff. As the last owner of camper had left his phone into the car, I used the phone to call into Ganton Binco and ask for the job. I met the owner, in ganton 17th street, and got out of the car. Owner of the binco was wearing a nice expensive suit. And looked kind of serious. I was still wearing those dirty clothes, but I stood calm. Owner stared at my face for a little bit, and asked if I was the guy who called him. I said, "Yes, it was me earlier". He asked me to step inside. We got inside, and everything was very clean, and had a rosy smell. We started to have job interview and talk about what is my responsibilities. After a while, he declared that I was hired, and gave me staff clothes to wear. I put them on in the cabin and started to work and serve the costumers, I now had a job, to pay for my car and food. And not I got my car to last the whole winter, car will keep me warm and is my another home, which I never didn't have.

Spring

After working for the binco for over 2 months, I finally got promoted, and earned alot bigger amounts of cash. Soon I had enough cash to buy upgrades for my car, new tires, etc. I was getting my life fixed up and moving in the right direction, all because I had chosen the right path in the past. And stood legal law person, what most of the civillians cannot accomplish. Now back to the point, I've started to look for a house to stay in pernamentaly. Then one day, I got mysterious call from unknown number, my suprise was big, when I heard my best mate voice. He and couple of other buddies, got to Los Santos with their roadtrip, and tracked me down, we met at Idlewood, after 3 years we finally met again, and I was very happy to see them. My mates told me that, they would like to stay and live in Los Santos for longer, and so we all decided to reserve a camping place, and sleep in our trucks, until we get the money to buy apartment or a house . Ofcourse all of us, were still hippies, and so the brotherhood of hippies was formed, and I got the others part-time job in the Ganton Binco aswell. Nothing could be better then this.

Eugene McCarthy's brief presidential campaign successfully persuaded a significant minority of young adults to "get clean for Gene" by shaving their beards or wearing lower miniskirts; however the "Clean Genes" had little impact on the popular image in the media spotlight, of the hirsute hippy adorned in beads, feathers, flowers and bells.
