Question Concerning the server

Whenever I have tried to connect to the Argonath RPG server it just keeps connecting...I'm not sure what is the problem

I have been to about 4 different servers and all have worked fine.  Is there something I need to do so I can connect to the game?

I downloaded the latest one off of this site.

And I believe that if I didn't have the latest version, I wouldn't be able to connect to the other servers...

I tried some official servers, I successfully logged on, got killed twice and managed to steal a truck lol.
I tried some internet servers...I successfully got on as well.  I don't get it, I'm not banned or anything lol.

It is confusing, any help would be appreciated.  again, thanks guy

oh lol, the main website lied to me.

Well thanks a lot bro, I owe you a lot though I have no money to pay.  I just got the online working 2 hours ago after hours of struggling to get it 2nd edition to work on a vista system.

Talk about the odds against me lol.  Well thanks again bro.

you'r using a Vista system?

yeah, it sucks but it has some advantages...I'll find out eventually lol

but at least my system is powerful enough to where vista doesn't actually slow down my system.

well im using a vista system, and i cant get any games what so ever to work on this comp, any advices?

Well everything I have put on my comp works fine...I have

all the gtas (with san andreas as of last night)
oblivion
guild wars
airport tycoon 3
age of empires II
Empire Earth (yes I really do like RTS games)
every steam game I have works fine (and I have just about all except Half life 2)


Set games to administrator privilages
Also try compatibility mode (XP pack 2)

but I guess it is all about your set-up

see I have the following
dual core 2 (2.13)ghz processor
2048mb ram
ati radieon graphics pro 1300X

The graphics card isn't anything special, but it can run everything I have flawlessly.  Try upgrading to 2 gigs of ram or buy a better video card, that should help with the games

but some games just won't work with vista

start - control panel - system and matinence - check your computers base experience........

Check your base score, mine is a 4.2 with my graphics card being the lowest.  Check it out, I suggest your comp should be at least a 3.5 for decent gaming.
