HIS Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5

I'm looking around for a new graphic card since the one I got now is crap.
Nvidia GeForce 6800GS is the one I got now.
Well, On a site theres weekly offers where I found this card,
HIS Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 for 1000NOK and thats a very good price.
So, I got some questions.

1) Will this fit to replace my Nvidia due that they are both PCI Express x16?

2) Is this a good replacement?

3) Anything else you want to say about it?
