As this week marks the exact 1 year since my registration to Argonath in game, I will be hosting an argoday celebration for this event.
Just like my beliefs on birthdays, the person being "celebrated" should give to them, not them give to you.
I believe I was beneficial to Argonath, so instead of celebrating my presence of 1 year here, I'm celebrating myself being here for 1 year - a benefit for the community!
Thursday, at about 10am Pacific (1pm east, 7pm CET), I will be hosting a Katana DM event.
My name in argonath (Rory) was taken from my Medieval name for the SCA (society for creative anachronism). I love anything Medieval, therefore we're hosting a Medieval event.
Everyone will buy Katana's (only like $400 bucks), and only four people, chosen by myself, will be able to get body armour (knights).
The goal is to have everyone fight to the death, gladiator style. If a peasant kills a Knight and wins the event, they win double the event cash. If a Knight wins, and kills another knight, they win TRIPLE the event cash.
If two knights are left, they will duel to the death, and finish by fighting Rory. If the winning Knight defeats Rory, they win FOUR TIMES the event cash.
