aaah, I don't even. I have no idea, why did I even bothered thinking if you don't even listen.
Original, meaning, not taken FULLY from something/someone else. I'm not going to re-write Harry Potter word-for-word and call it Bob's Adventure, I'm going to use ideas from it (inspiration) including the proper credits. Write a script if you want; you WILL be credited and rewarded depending on:

-How much inspiration/ideas were based off yours
Let's say you made that script into a short story called.... Josh's Life
Contents:
Josh is a 24 year old small time criminal in a gang. Most of his life he has robbed houses for jewelry and some other valuable objects or pickpocketing people in the streets and malls. In this way he has caught a little bit attention by his gang leader Marcus as a hard working and trustful person, so Marcus thinks that Josh can be trusted with bigger operations. He asks Josh to be his bodyguard while Marcus buys some drugs off the Vietnamese. The night before the first big operation Josh's girlfriend Jessica gives him the big news. Jessica is pregnant.
The drug dealing in the middle of nowhere seems at first to go as planned, until police and SWAT show's up. Vietnamese leader and also Marcus are able to escape, but Josh and most of the others are caught by the police. Josh is facing a death sentence, unless he cooperates with the Police and becomes a snitch for the Police.
Josh's assignment is to find out where does Marcus get all his money and to report it to his supervisor. If Josh succeeds he is a free man and he and his girlfriend Jessica will be protected by the police. Soon Josh finds out that his supervisor Officer Sato is corrupted. Sato has connections with the Vietnamese, but Josh has no evidences, which leads to Josh breaking the laws due to Sato's order.
As the connections between Sato and Vietnamese Mafia are direct Josh soon finds himself taking orders from Mr Nguyen. Nguyen and his family is heavily in prostitution trafficking. Main quests what Josh has to do for him, are connected with escorting underage lolitas from one location to another. On a mission to transport these girls from San Fierro to Las Venturas, Josh finds himself surrounded by heavily armored men and no way to escape. Josh is knocked unconscious.
Josh wakes up several hours later and is greeted by William Robertson from a government agency. Mr Robertson knows about the situation with Josh and is willing to help Josh. Josh first have to ruin Nguyen's men to transport more underage girls to San Fierro from Vietnam and take pictures. After that he has to take pictures how Nguyen first transports drugs into San Andreas and then exchanges it with Marcus gang. Last he must take pictures how Sato buys lolita's Nguyen.
As Josh can't go straight to the police with these evidences, he needs to take care of the problems himself. Mr Robertson helps him by giving Josh two guys who help him to go and take out Nguyen. After Nguyen is dead both Sato and Marcus are anxious. When Josh now goes to the Police and talks straight to the highest rank Officer Sato makes a run for it. Sato is trying to escape from the country and he is heading to the Airport. Sato manages to take off, when Josh follows him in a Hydra and shoots Sato's plane down.
Meanwhile Police has gotten Jessica and arrested her from Marcus gang territory for her safety. After Josh returns and explained everything to Jessica he joins the police force in the attempt of going and trying to arrest Marcus. This will lead to a massive shootout where a lot of people will be shot down. The shootout ends with the duel of Josh and Marcus on the roof. Both guys ammunition will be depleted and they will continue hand to hand combat which ends with Josh pushing Marcus off the roof.
Josh has earned his freedom. He will not receive any honorary medal from the public. Jessica gives birth to a healthy baby boy and they all will go and live a normal boring life from here forth.
Then, I take it, and make a whole movie out of it called, "An Awesome Cool Story With People In It!!!"
You watch it one night, and say "WTF THIS IS MY BOOK!!"
