Depends on your hardware specifications. Intel Atom cores tend to do a better job with Windows 7 with 1GB ram then dual cores with 1GB ram.

Windows XP is far better gaming platform, but lacks in support for DX 10/11.. Well.. you don't even need them actually...

Windows 7 is a bit lighter for CPU/RAM, but lot heavier for Video card..
If your video cards sucks ass, stay in XP..
If you have good video card but CPU or RAM sucks, go for WIndows 7..
