I prefer III over Vice City.

SA:MP is in its glory now, no matter the client. In a year or two, SA:MP will be just like Vice City, abandoned or a rarity/classic. IV:MP will be in its highest.

Depends. VCMP is very popular. Its right next to SAMP. Many players, awesome scripts. MTA VC will always be the original but not much people play. MTA SA used to be one of the most popular servers until it went off the list. When we reuploaded the server, it went to the bottom of the list instead the top. I would be be playing IV if my computer had a good graphics card because IV:MP is no doubt going to be the future. That is when everyone can upgrade

Let me add, our VC:MP has more players than I have seen for a while, although not many new players are being introduced to it.

When I first joined Argonath there were about 50 players, now there are more than 100 online usually.

I think sheer numbers will keep SA:MP in existence

As more people move to GTA IV, less may play San Andreas. Eventually SA:MP will not have many players.

Yea but vice city is older than San Andreas and vcmp is really growing

LU definitely has better sync, stability, scripting features than VCMP.
But it does not get any new players, 95% players on LU are VCMPers who play LU just for a change.

The mod is really great, it deserves much more players....
Maybe if Argonath starts a server their, it will inject some players in LU...since we got a big community.

A server in LU will kinda complete argonath.
Sounds really satisfying that argo has a server in each of the GTA series cities
Maybe the scripts can be adjusted to create - 1 world of argonath: 3 different cities(LC,VC,SA).
That means, if you are registered on 1 server, you also got a bank account on the other.
Its like travelling from one city to another, plus we could have things like jurisdiction, capability to make international calls (chat ingame from VCMP to LU or SAMP) etc etc.  :devroll:
