GTA IV's Bohan (a LC island) problem (read below)

So I've recently got GTA IV and I'm wondering if I have to patch it in order (from oldest patch to newest) or if I can patch it to the newest right away.

Once you have installed GTA IV, all you need to do is install update 1.0.7.0
Then install IVMP R2-2 if youre going to play...

Hi Sickness, good to see you again too.

NOW I'm facing another problem. This is like some sort of bad creepypasta, but it's true:
Whenever I go into Bohan, near the house that you get after a certain mission in the game, the map doesn't load too well, if not at all, the textures and building models look like when they are being rendered when you're far from them. I can't change radio station NOR weapon. When Niko is running, he is running as if he was holding his cellphone, but he wasn't holding anything. If I pause the game, it crashes and I need to reset my computer. If I proceed any further into town, the game crashes and the sound that was playing loops as if I got a BSOD (which I don't get anyway).

I don't know if this happens outside of a mission, since I was on Faustin's "Final Destination" mission.

to me, it seems like an issue with not enough resources.

try lowering the resolution as low as possible (just for the sake of finding out what the problem is), and try that area again. :)
