I have a few questions regarding this subject that I've been wondering about for quite some time now.

1. Is the player whose assets are removed from given the value in cash afterwards?
2. If any players' accounts are deleted, are they able to be restored? In other words, are accounts backed up in the event that they spring up and start playing again?
3. If someone were to notify a higher-up about an extended period of inactivity, could their account remain (not the assets for obvious reasons) if they ask for it to stay? For example, if I tell Gandalf I'm going inactive for... say, a year, due to personal reasons, and will return at the said date, will he be able to "protect" my account from long-term inactivity deletion?
4. Will your previous activity influence how quickly your account will be deleted?
5. If one says that they are going permanently inactive, could they request everything of theirs to be transferred (money, house, business)? This also applies to banned people.

As far as I'm concerned accounts get moved to the database and they can be retrieved.

1. Yeah value is given back once his assests are sold.
2. Don't know about this one.
3. Same as above
4. Transfers are possible if you are just leaving and want to hand them over to a friend/someone you trust or someone in your group to hold them for you incase you do return in said future.

REPLICA.

1. Value is returned to the owner.
2. Accounts are not deleted, but moved to inactive folder, if not in use for some time. I have seen situations like that and players have gotten their accounts back.
3. Nope, assets won't be kept even in that kind of situation. Just try to log in at least once in 3 months and enter your house and/or bizz.
4. No. 3 months is a rule, no exceptions made.
5. Transferred to where?

I have a few questions regarding this subject that I've been wondering about for quite some time now.

1. Is the player whose assets are removed from given the value in cash afterwards?
Yes, however only the "in-game" value. If you paid anything extra above the price shown, it will be lost.

2. If any players' accounts are deleted, are they able to be restored? In other words, are accounts backed up in the event that they spring up and start playing again?
In general we never delete accounts, we move them to a place where they do not slow down the server.
This means that we might be able to place them back, unless there have been major script changes that prevent us.

Yes and no. In case the time is so long that the account is moved away, it will not be protected.
In general if the time is limited the account will not be moved.

4. Will your previous activity influence how quickly your account will be deleted?
No.

5. If one says that they are going permanently inactive, could they request everything of theirs to be transferred (money, house, business)? This also applies to banned people.
If you are not banned, nothing stops you from going in game and transferring yourself.
If you are banned, you should have thought about it earlier. The exception is that if a house and/or business is destined as group property, the group leader can apply to have admins transfer it to another member of the same group.

I guess his question is when a players gets banned, and isn't expecting a perm ban but he gets one, is it possible to get all his money and assets tranfsered? As you can't really see a ban coming, or you're getting banned for fun.

Gandalf style:
If you get denied unban permanently, I sincerely doubt that you either did not see it coming or were banned for fun.

Aragorn style: Stop your bullshit crap. If you wish to shit on the admin team prove it or you will be banned.

Well I didn't saw the (false) perm ban on Tommy_Gvardia coming, and I guess he didn't as well. Though it got revoked.
