Why does community hate everyone who RPs things to details or uses brackets? Christ... If you don't like them stay away from them.
Just to let you know, my role-play level is inordinately upraised compared to any member of your group. I was arraigned of being a DMer by Trey Johnson, and he himself apologized after a long talk. He considers people who use "Combat Shotgun" as DMers, when I clearly let him know I'm not one, not to mention the fact I didn't even use a Combat Shotgun.
Oh, about being detailled:
After that last screen-shot, he used some lazy /me such as: "/me hops onto the bike and attempts to run away"
We went after him and finally chased him down when he fell from his bike. This is what I get for role-playing:
To conclude: it wasn't the certitude they use brackets which disturbed me, it's them prejudicing people's role-play abilities not knowing they are hypocrites for doing that.
