Hello Dear court,

I've noticed that in Liberty city law list there is no many information about weapons regulations; Who can use them and in what situations (e.g law agencies can use it), Is possesion of weapons legal or illegal, is exposing weapons to public legal or illegal and such....

This request is made because there were alot of arguing from law agencies to suspect ingame when citizen gets suspected for carrying weapon or just posesing weeapon.

Thank you,
[TCL]Miha

carrying weapon or just posesing weeapon.

What do you mean by those?
I think weapon laws can sort out a lot of problems.

“Just because you shot Jesse James, don’t make you Jesse James.”

I mean, this

1. Is having weapon at all legal (unless you are law agency member)

2. Is showing weapon off to public legal?

Quote from: Constitution
Ordinance II: Due to the requirement of protection against terrorism, against doers of wrong, of ones own property, and the protection of the states themselves, the government shall not reject the right of citizens to bare arms. However, no weapon shall be in open sight without lawful purpose. This does not apply to appointed law enforcement agencies unless directed otherwise by appropriate law enforcement officials.

The constitution I believe applies to all states. And to explain the quote.
A person can posses weapons, use self-defence (but if he has killed, other than just shooting in defence, a short jail is to be sentenced). However he might not 'expose' his weapons publicly, this however does not apply to law enforcement officials.

It is
Quote
2. Is showing weapon off to public legal?
A verbal warning is to be issued first to lower the weapon, however, AFAIK, if the subject is a direct danger to you, you may directly suspect him. Of course if he does not co-operate, you can suspect him for obstruction to justice or just showing weapons in public as mentioned in Act XIII of Section III.

Quote from the same constitution on second line:

Quote
Ordinance I: This Constitution applies to the United State of Argonath into the San Andreas MP area and its establishments only.

My bad then, but still the IV:MP's constitution (which I just noticed now) says the same, or am I wrong?

It's the same thing for IV:MP, as saberman pointed out via his link.
In simple, you can have and carry weapons with you, use them for your self-defence (if you kill as self-defence, shorter jail sentence
would follow than normally)
but you may not use them openly in public as a citizen. (so keep them in your pockets )
