Well, I guess it all started in 2009, July 14th to be precise.
Well, I'm 15, 16 in August, I play a bit of guitar, am fairly good at Academic subjects, and my favourite food is Roast Dinner. I play GTA IV every so often, but SA:MP is my favourite currently.
I go flying in Wales with my parents, and when I am 16 I hope to go solo, without an instructor, as I have been waiting for two years. I fly model Aircraft, and am a fairly laid back guy.
I got bored with the Missions on GTA, and I wanted to be able to play Co-operative with my brother (Ben Blake). So I simply searched 'San Andreas Multiplayer' in Google, and SA:MP was the first on the list.
Naturally, I was intrigued, so I downloaded it (Version 0.2) and started looking at the servers.
I saw the 'Official' Tab, when it existed, Argonath and various other servers were there. I tried the most popular server first, forgot what it was, and did not like it. I tried Argonath however, and I did like it. I always preferred games in which you earn something as opposed to being mindless. Joined as joedaman633
I came ingame, and immediately wanted to be a cop, what was better? Free weapons, easy access to cars, FUN ALL ROUND! So I drove around for a bit, trying to kill criminals, but at this point I was using a joystick, and many of you may know that you get an auto-aim when you aim on the 'joypad' mode, and as it does not compensate for lag, I lost every time.
I got invited to a group called [XC] - Xtreme Cops, and I was known as [XC]JoeJoe for a while, patrolled with [XC]ShaSha, [XC]MiniMini, [XC]RandyRandy etc.
I then got invited to the LV Mafia (Onoez) and although people said it was a rulebreaking group, I thought it was quite fun, and we actually went round as a group more than Corleone and Stracci did for example at a point.
Anyway, later, I kind of acknowledged that it was a rulebreaking group.
At some point in December, an Advertiser for someone elses server spammed, so I visited it, I liked it, and played both that and Argonath for a while. I ended up being the co-owner of this server before it failed. Anyway, I mentioned this bit as the Admin Scripts on this server were a little Rubbish, so I downloaded a hacking tool to get about the map quicker, however, when I joined Argonath, I then used Airbreak to get to my car, I was banned. :gd:
Anyway, While I was banned, I went on my Work Experience in Real Life around February - March time, and during this time period, I left [XC] and formed Deleon, I was fairly confident I'd be unbanned.
And so I was, I got unbanned, came ingame, and started Deleon rolling. It was a bit of a fail, I ended up having a maximum of 5 members, these were: Joe_Deleon (Me), Ben_Deleon, Abbruzo_Deleon (Who we lovingly know as Amaru/Exclusive), Chris_Deleon, and Tom_Deleon.
I was a shit leader, I did nothing, my members quit, I closed down Deleon.
I got bored, very bored, so I joined Los Diablos, this was when it was having a rough phase, I got bored, and quit. My name at this point was Julio_Benitez. I then joined Stracci, which turned out to be the most fun group I was ever in, there I met people such as NitrOx, Ollie, Ints, Rafael, Flash, and of course, RYAN! <3. I'm not sure why I quit, but I did, joined Gvardia for two days, liked Eugene, did not like Cofiliano, so left. I rejoined Stracci and stayed there for a while. Stracci sort of failed, came back, failed again, so I joined groups such as Capoliani made from ex-straccis and rejoined Stracci when NitrOx returned.
Anway, I left Stracci after a while and joined Marlen, which was fun and active for a bit.
I sound like a clanhopper, which I suppose I was, but all I wanted was Activity and fun as opposed to Dedication and loyalty. Lots of time went by Blurred, joined McMallen, left, joined Collin, and am still in this group.
I was actually accepted into the SAPD when my name had been wrong on my Application for 3 months, I had not patrolled, had done nothing, and was accepted, I was as surprised as anything, It took me a few months to do my lessons as I was lazy, but became more active when I was an officer.
Got Promoted to Senior Officer Early May, and thats about it I think.
