Actually, no... It is NOT theoritically possible.
Time diliation is not about going to the past/future to meet "yourself".
It is about difference of elapsed time between two different people.

It is actually happening all the time among us but its effect is too small that we cannot observe it.
To state it more clearly for those who havent taken college-level physics courses with labs,
it is like, 100000 years for people living on the Earth can actually be only 10 years for other people in other spaces.

So, basically, if we can exploit the theories of special relativity and time dilation more expansively, then astronauts will not have to age to death while traveling the space. But, yeah, even if they successfully get to another planet in only one week or so, it will be like 100 years or even more for other people on the earth.

Thus, you've got wrong conceptions about time traveling here..

Not possible.

Its aready possible, matter of fact if u got bill gates like cash you can probably go like 50-500 years into the future, cant come back tho

You forget humans manipulate. Basicly we can't fly either, but we can find ourselves in the sky with several methods. Even jetpacks are being made (for military use).... Time-Travelling is for our current technology completely out of question, but i'm sure something will be found. However, the effect would be rather small like a few milliseconds than a few years when staying on earth.

With our current technological levels and understanding of physics, the only way to time travel to the past would be to create a space that can receive information from the future, and of course equipment that can manipulate that space. Once achieved, information can only be sent as far back as the moment the equipment was first turned on, or first made suitable enough to receive information transmitted into that space. Of course, this means you cannot travel back in time to meet your young grandfather who was running from the bombs in WWII.

Of course, to transcend that, we will need better ways to manipulate physics...

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Your analogy is false.

Create space? Also, you can't manipulate physics.

And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.

By creating a certain kind of space which can be affected by certain kinds of equipment, I do not mean creating new space in every sense of the word. I'm talking about altering a certain part of space so it can be utilized for manipulation by technology, such as the currently sci-fi concept of warping space like a fabric.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Whereas the idea of using a wormhole could work, the general idea of a wormhole is to generally fold space, making traveling to a certain place faster.

There are more theory's that make better sense than this method.

A wormhole could work (assuming it can lead to a different time other than one simultaneously running on both sides of the hole), or something else that distorts the flow of space (and so, of time) in the affected area. You will need technology powerful enough to keep that space "open" / altered long enough to get through, and even then no one is sure if these lead to other parts of our universe, other times of our universe, or out of the damn universe altogether.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Yeah, it's a matter of keeping it open and safe for use, otherwise, an unstable wormhole could lead to a whole range of things, (planetary shift, black holes and so on.).

Technically, we are already traveling in time, 1 second per second.
