Hi guys,
Looks like we won't be joining you guys after all.  We've been poking around on the server and already ran into some big problems.  Evidently one of my members scammed a drug dealer out of a ride under the guise that she would be buying drugs (RPing the whole way) and then squelched on her end of the deal.  Angry the dealer started shooting.  So naturally she shot back, the dealer turned out to be an admin and she was punished. 

Then another one of my players was attacked by three Colreones weilding knifes, stabbed to nearly an inch from death, the player fought back with a firearm and they reported her to the admins.  I'm completely OK with my crew being attacked, they're all capable of taking care of taking it.   :hit: I can see the reasons behind them being attacked from an RP standpoint, however I cannot understand why any of my people would be punished for defending themselves.   

We've been running into a considerable amount of this on other servers.  We checked out Valhalla last night and I watched 15-20 people get kicked/banned in less then 1 hour.  The guy next to me got banned for saying "dickhead", two of the 5-10 Fromunda crew that were on that night got kicked, one for paging an admin and the other for carjacking an unmarked cop car, which he didn't know it was one until he was in the driver's seat.

Out of the three RP servers we've seriously considered, we've run into the same problem across the board: poor judgment by the administrative staff.  Please take this as constructive criticism, I'm not trying to piss anyone off here but rather help you in the future.  I hope your server does well in the future and you're welcome to check us out if you need to contact us again in the future:

well if you ask me some admins are really strict and sometimes ban,kick or banana without time to appologize or warn, although i hope you stay and recommend this server, just try to play more by our rules and you will be fine. Have fun if you decide to keep playing on this server!

I'm the one that was attacked after the faked drug deal, and ganked by Corleones. This post isn't meant to piss you off, but take it whatever way you want. I experienced the following problems today while playing your server.

An advertisement came up for drugs. I called the dealer and said I was interested. He came to pick me up, I BS'd with him and got him to take me to Ammunation. I bought guns and armor, then got back in his car. He drove me to the docks, said "Are you buying? I'm not driving you around for nothing." I bailed and told him I wasn't interested anymore, and thanks for the ride. He got out of the car and starting punching and stomping me and said "If you shoot me you'll be kicked/banned!"

Tell me that isn't abuse.

I shot him, and was jailed for "Misconduct."

I was also ganked by three Corleones with knives while I was just standing by some trees, using the "/help" thing to see if there were neat things I could do. They cut me up, I almost died, and I had to jump into the water to escape them. When I shot at them [during the attack, before I jumped in the water] I got reported for "attacking without reason."

I was also carjacked by a cop in Los Santos, shot at by police and then told "This isn't a DM server" when I shot back. The icing on the cake was right when I had decided to log off for good, a cop came from over a hill, plowed me over with his car, got out and killed me with a shotgun. Then he went on his merry way. No words, no nothing.

Im also part of Fromunda.. I played there last night and it definitely wasnt fun. There we about 10 or so police to the 2-3 other people.

It seems like half of your servers population at the time thinks being a Police Officer gives them a reason to DM people for some half ass reason.

Its just fucking ridiculous. Then some guy went on talking about masturbation for about a half hour.

If a guy pisses you off... /report id reason and admins will take their actions!
If a cop DM's you... /report id reason and admins will take their action!
If 1/2 server are cops, wait for 2.0 scriptversion.
Try to take things easier, i am trying to imagine 20 players who are now beating their computer

You say to be an RPG group. So lets take this as a real life situation. You call a drug dealer to buy drug from him. You let him drive you around town and then tell him 'no deal'. What do you expect he will do ?

Did admins take any action ? The /report function is often abused, which is reason why people cry that admins do not take action when they use it.

I did not see your nick in game. But we could check logs and wee which admins were online at the time.

new Rolepalayers are always welcome , but one word of advice , dont let your clan get to big it will make it hard to manage and there is less of a comunity feelling

not saying im unhappy with our members (we had like 50 at our peak )Its like the saying goes one bad apple spoils the whole bunch

oh and let your members read the rules BEFORE they come on the server , this will prevent some problems , like others already told you we are a rp server ,if you just like shooting everyone there are a lot of Dm servers where you can nicely . (but why would you its BOOORINGG)
