Admins under 18 a good idea?

I responded based on my limited experience on this server, having read the messages here I wonder if I made the right vote.

One thing that does get my bak up tho is that if you read most of these posts they pretty much say yer young ok, but when they get older they no good....

However it should really be the first point, age does not matter whether young or old, its the capability of the individual person.

I have gamed on his server with some rather capable individuals only to find they are between half and a tird of my age, I found it odd at first but in the end they know the game, they know what they are doing, and most of all they are enjoying it.

Being an admin I see is about knowing the game, knowing the rules and most importantly knowing how to give a balanced judgement on all situations.  The last is the hardest for anyone unless you have no ties to other gamers.  You can be 10 or 50, if you meet the above you might be right for the job.

In some cases it might actually help some of the younger members mature into a more balanced person with less criticism about life in general..

At 32 and the way I do things I could probably do the job, but I don't have the time or willingness to make that sort of commitment, as others have said being an admin is like a job, I have one and that keeps me busy enough..
