Well yeah, I'm gonna build a HTPC/server soon and I'm currently looking for components. So my budget is about 200 euros and that should include Mini-ITX motherboard, processor, RAM's, PSU and a case. So far I've been looking at ASRock E350M1 which comes with an AMD Dual-Core Processor E350/E350D. As of the case, I've been looking at Codegen MX-31 Mini-ITX computer case, it comes with a 420w power supply which seems overkill for this kind of motherboard & processor but only 54 euros for the case & psu so its quite cheap. For RAMS I need some help: "The motherboard supports DDR3 1066, 2 DIMM slots, Max. capacity up to 16GB" I'm not sure if SO-DIMM is the same as DIMM, since the cheapest DIMM momory I could find was 50 euros for 1GB and cheapest SO-DIMM DDR3 memory was only 9 euros for 1GB, so please clarify this for me and suggest a good amount and speed of RAM.
Well thats pretty much it, heres a last wrap up of the current setup:
- Motherboard: ASRock E350M1 (comes with AMD Dual-Core Processor E350/E350D & Build in graphics) 97,90 e
- Case: Codegen MX-31(comes with 420w power supply unit) 54,90 e
- RAM: ?
Total: 152,8 e / 200 e (47,2 e left)
I'd appreciate your help and opinions
