Well, this is my idea. Every cb channel should have an option to display it's users (/c cbusers). This is already scripted in SAMP and I was thinking it would be good to have it scripted in VCMP too.

Though, what could be the good side? It's not like you browse whole CB channels and you find a partner to talk with.
When you invite someone to talk with you on CB or have a conference, you know exactly where he is going.

 Just one side could be good

* VCPD haves a conference
* n00b comes in searchin for CB channels to talk
* n00b starts to spy
* Legend does /c cbusers
* We plam him out and change cb frequency

But, I was thinking of something, Could we CB Ban ? lol ?

As example, I made a conference, and someone goes in spamming. CB Admins lol ?

Not really needed. So far just keeping your CB frequency private has worked

this is the dumbest thing i ever heard
even if there is no /c cbusers, you can still tune in to 'all' channels and wait for someone to start speaking, to see if the channel's occupied. but let me remind you, theres like about 900 possibilities for a channel number, how the fuck are you gonna find the right one before dying by starving IRL?

If I'm not mistaken, SAMP has a lot of scripts/commands regarding CB.
They mostly involve CB security and privacy....even CB administration(I could be wrong).

VCMP's CB is a small simple script. The only security is secrecy.
It does have a lot of back doors in security to extend role-play possibilities.
Most of them are in hands of FBI, to get intel on criminal activities....but it can extend to gang rivals as well.
Actually the CB Radio is like in RL.
You just broadcast a message on a certain frequency. Any one reading that frequency receives your message.
The broadcaster has no knowledge of who received the signal, since all listeners are anonymous.
So /c cbusers will actually take away that animosity.
IMO it should'nt be there.

That does add a bit of a twist to things. ;)

New CB features would be nice, but implementing one to make things more convenient (like /c cbusers to see if the people who you want to talk to have arrived w/e) may have a knock on effect and demand more when not so essential.

Maybe keep the "anynomouys" (wtf, hard word to spell) and add a command that shows how many are in the channel?

Would be used like this:

/c tune 1.1
** You have tuned your CB Radio to channel 1.1
/c cbusers
** Channel 1.1 has 12 people on (or sth, am really bad at this XD)
See what I did there?

That'd help you determine if there are indeed leaks in your group of guys when using CB, but you can't see to whom it has been leaked to ^^

In real life, it's rather not possible to check who's currently operating on your CB frequency, or how many users are there.
You can buy a tool that shows you the direction from where the signal coming to you, but that makes no sense here I guess.

To make CB more popular and "human", we could lower the number of frequencies and add specific channels - for example, channel 9 only for police/emergency protocols.
