First thing to check: Does GTA:SA crash when you load it in single player? If so, I would re-install the game.

If its only crashing in multiplayer, then maybe reinstall SA:MP first, although that probably won't help much.

Have you been able to connect prior to this happening? Or is this your first time playing SA:MP?

From what I've understood: When you open up SA:MP and try to click "Connect" on a server, it closes immediately down. If that's the problem then it caused by you changing to a resolution your monitor doesn't support. In this case do as following:

1. Click "Start"
2. Click "Documents"
3. Click "GTA San Andreas User Files"
4. Delete the file called "gta_sa.set"
