Doesn't it pop up a menu from the audio manager and asks you what to set the line that you just plugged? I've had the same audio manager on my main pc and it used to ask me each time I plugged in something!

You probably have multiply drivers and one of them for sure must work. I had it in the past and I then I understood I have to enter realtek and set the correct driver or what ever and then the microphone began working immideatly.

I know how to sort it out. In-case you want to do it, PM me with your teamviewer details.
