Hi, some of you might know me from the samp 0.2.1 server as Dobo_Azteca, and as of last night I used /changename to alter my name to [SAR]Dobo, thinking all would be fine, but when I changed my name on the SAMP client and went to log in, neither of the accounts existed anymore. I'm just wondering if /namechange is a common problem on the server with deleting accounts, and I'd just like to warn anyone before they do it, I've lost a few hundred K and my passport as a result... I'll still be on, probably as [Dobo] though, so see you all there

No, the problem is not "/changename" command. You have made a mistake in name, try out - maybe {SAR]Dobo - the most bugs that occur...
What you can do, is PM gandalf.

Please, before executing a serious command like /Changepass or /changename - Review it many times.

Hi Andre, well I considered that a possibility, as it's the only logical thing that could have happened if there isn't a bug that deletes accounts. I've PM'ed Gandalf and now waiting for a reply, hopefully he'll be able to recover the account. Speaking to Wayne last night though, supposedly its a common bug that occurs using /namechange. Oh well, who knows.

Did you typed /changename and then exit after you typed that in! You shall also after you did /changaname go into SA-MP client. That should fix it i had same problem but then i changed back to my first name and did it! If that doesn't fix your problem then send a email to community

Cant believe this... Made a new account [Dobo] been on it all morning, making money n received some, and used /changepass before i logged out because it wasn't secure, went to log back in and now it doesn't recognize either...

You can't have 2 accounts, it is againts the rules. 
Wait for Gandalf to send you your details for your old account.

I know that, but the point is that Dobo_Azteca doesn't even exist anymore, somehow deleted itself with the /changename bug. [Dobo] still exists but theres no real password assigned to it for some reason, because of /changepass bug, that is the account I'd like to fix. Hopefully Gandalf will be able to reset it for me.
