duty salary per day

i may suggest that we must get or duty salary every day because the duty guys are almost out of money so requested to pay use or day money as 500$per day

So people will go on duty just for money. They will be sitting around in cars and waiting for their 500 bucks. C'mon, we are getting paid from suspects, we do traffic stops...but mainly: server isn't money pointed. We have to work for that money. We can't expect to be paid for driving around.

I don't support this idea for there reasons.

This topic has been discussed already, but it's worth to re-state them.

We already have a very little salary for everyone (granted by Sauron).

All scripted jobs have already a salary system based on how much you work. That's the best system we can use in my opinion, as only really working you can get your money.

You may say: "yes, but most times I chase suspects (in the case of a cop) but don't get them! = no money"
You're right. At the moment LCPD isn't very developed because of server problems and limits.. I'm telling that because I was used to get a monthly pay as SAPD Officer (but also freecops in the department got it..) in SA, but this is not happening here. Not yet.. or just will not.. who knows...

Anyway, as Kerbe said already, giving out a pay based on just being on duty (not counting the work done) will just make the scoreboard full of blue names.. nothing more.

Pfft, the scoreboard is already always full of blue names, as it is the only job from which you can earn tons of money.
I mean, Taxi driver- noone ever needs it, Medic- noone ever needs it, Mechanic-noone ever needs it...
Something needs to be done to decfrease the cop count and increase variety of different roles of people.

This problem will be automatically fixed in case of an increase of the players amount. No other good way to do it imo.
