For thous of u who dont know yet again Nissan has setup the Gran Turismo Academy in Gran Turismo 5. based upon the current season instead of it being done via lap times like last year its now been setup as a driving school with no region locks (meaning ur rank is what it is globally). right now only 6 of the 8 sessions are avalible and this is the absolute last month that this years academy will be. ive been racing with my G26 Steering Wheel (shown below)
now after each session is completed only people with gold medals in all tests of that session will recieve the academy car for use int GT5 each session has its own car currently no one can recieve them until the end of the tests.
So whats the point in the GT Academy? well its simple really. Both in Europe and USA they take several contestant winners from each region and put them head to head against each other and from there less then 10 of them advance to the real driving tests. Yes litterly they go from racing cars in games to Racing cars with there own hands and feet. The grand prize is every racers dream.... The chance to race for your own team sponsored by nissan.
With me working almost 50 hours a week i barely have enough time to race against the clock in the tests.... but after the 5th and final test for session 6 this was my place. Again these are GLOBAL rankings:
so as of right now im in the top 5k out of over 800,000 drivers for the academy last year i barely made it to 25k idk what im doing differently but its working and i love it hehe
