Reminds me of the ongoing issues in the Philippines, where our government singed a "Cybercrime Prevention" law that entails provisions against hacking, child pornography (although ironically there is no law against non-child pornography or bestiality, considering the country is religious and conservative overall), cybersex, and "cyber-libel". The last provision is very dangerous as it means you can suffer up to 12 years in prison for attacking a politician, bureaucrat, or some other rich powerful person online.
As a matter of fact, the PH government websites have set up checkpoints with IP trackers and other security measures, as Anonymous Philippines has taken down several websites. The uproar is everywhere in our country, from free-speech movements denouncing the senators who passed the bill to university students. (with some jokers yelling "Save the porn! Junk R.A. 10175!")
Once again, those politicians sacrifice your rights for their own personal benefit.
