Hey Riekelt, just a piece of advice here:

I would not distribute the newspaper as PDF, due to the chance that PDF's are easily infected with viruses. You may want to consider distributing it via the forums or via a website.

I have done a lot of this "kind of thing" in the past, so if you got stuck on publishing, graphics, editorial or whatever else, I wouldn't mind giving a few pointers (if you needed it ;p).

I am currently creating a dynamic flipbook, which you can access when you subscribed.
A subscribtion costs in-game money! This way we fund ourselves. The flipbook will be able to display .jpg images in a 3d form, so you can actualy flip the page to the next one... just like a real newspaper

That sounds good.

In the past, in one of the newspaper companies that I was managing, we used to go for the classic PDF way back then.
But now, I've found a number of great, semi-interactive, online publishers who are more than ideal for this kind of thing.
