Your case is best implemented in a scenario where the removal process has already been completed. However, if you are going to remove guns from the system (not including law enforcement), then there are two concerns:

1. How to remove guns with little or no paperwork, such as illegal guns

2. How to protect from the threat of mass shootings while the removal process is still in progress

That's what I said. Still though, just as I was saying, it's right. Removing guns would be near impossible.

To be honest, something really needs to change. If you look at stats, India is the second country in the world with most guns, only second to USA. Yet, we have never experienced devastated shooting incidents.

Banning guns totally might be a useful idea, as we had loads of people dying from regular buses here so the government switched to low floor buses, deaths before that - 2000+, deaths after low floor buses - 0.

Maybe about time, killer guns get replaced with something more handy and less lethal. Rubber bullets anyone?

1 of my neighbors have an air rifle, the other has a proper rifle, police go to his house every so often to make sure it's all locked up.

The only incidents of shooting we've had in past couple of months were in marriages, when people fired in the skiez and it accidentally killed people. :p

Yeah, in my country there's now a strict policy on guns in large events since many people have been injured.
