I don't have any 'xperience' with that phone, but I do have experiences with Sony videorecorders, amplifiers, tapedecks (R2R), cassettedecks, cd-players, speakers, and tuners. One of the most uninnovating brands out there on all of these areas. They do have a lot of nice stuff, though, very well designed too, back in the 70s. But after the 80s and 90s the company lost its charm. Sony tends to pick up on a lot of 'hot stuff' and enter the game by just producing something that's already there but slightly different. Examples are the compact disc, game consoles, and apparently also smartphones recently (post-2000 :P ). This really just reminds me of Samsung with a bit more of this and that. Oh and, waterproof? Didn't Nokia already do that in the late 90s?
Sorry, but then you obviously have no real experience with the brand.
Their CD and DVD/BluRay players are known for cheap and plastic mechanisms. The lasers in the mechanisms also fail a lot. I've had to clean loads of them through the years. Sometimes they're even unrepairable; laserrot. I'm not awfully experienced on the subject of smartphones, so I can't really say that Sony is also shitty in smartphones, but I'd really love to find out that there are actually wellmade smartphones, that last for longer than ten years, and were actually built with more than a bit of factory work in Taiwan/China, using the very cheapest of electronic components out there.
Well, I do agree 'some' of their cameras suck, including DSLRs
So far, I have only used these gadgets by Sony :
TVs - Bravia is the best, no arguments about that.
Laptops - Again, VAIO is a well recognizable brand
Phones - Never had to visit service center even once! and they have taken the fall no other phones can, also they feel great in hand, unlike cheap plastic material used in Samsung phones.
Cameras : Well cyber shots are awesome!!
Blu - Ray player : I got the one without 3D , from the time when Sony just launched them back in 2011, and so far its the only thing by Sony which I have been totally disappointed with.
So I can't really tell about other things which you mentioned. :p
Orly? Must be a very new joke :trust:
Either he is trolling or still stuck in the 90s :p
Although I dislike the fact, but Samsung is the number one in market when it comes to sales of cell phones.
