Maybe will make people, including some of you realize that piracy is not a victimless crime.

Well partly it's the dev's fault. They posted the game right on the release time, while for some games it may take a day or two to get it cracked, meaning there would be more "buy-than-download" kind of thing. Yet the game was available to be downloaded right from the start. It's basically calling for trouble.

I wonder why Matt missed out the information about why they did it, as it is pretty relevant

Developer did it with a little glitch hidden inside the game - people who download the pirated version play the game alright until the very moment where a player gets a message that the first video game their company will start selling will be pirated - thus making the company bankrupted and losing the game, forcing to start over.

Actually I didn't mention everything to keep the suspense. :p

Btw, the glitch was not when they created first game, but when they were on level 7-8, so it annoyed the hell out of gamers.

What's even funnier is people asking online, OMG WHY DO PEOPLE PIRATE?!! (when they pirated the game themselves) oh the irony. lmao
