Uninformed opinions are a big problem. Community leaders lead the community - they're qualified and have every right to deal with such problems. This is a f**king roleplay server, why can't you f**king give others the responsibility to deal with such problems. Community leader is not a RP rank, and I believe - like everyone else would - that a community leader should perform non-RP duties such as administrative tasks, reports with high importance etc...

The reason for a hierarchical staff system is so problems can be solved. If there's no response from what's been tried (contacting the inactive leader of the group in question), then naturally things should be escalated. Community Leaders are here to assist across the whole community - unlike managers, their job isn't solely dealing with unban requests and administrative issues of one server, but resolving exactly this kind of problem across the whole community as in the past with groups, families and clans who haven't been able to maintain a stable leadership.
In future, keep uninformed opinions to yourself.
PS: We'll do our "Soviet duties", as you put it, wherever it's needed. In this case, it was dealing with your post. This is not a democracy, and we have simple rules which are there to be followed. By employing common sense, you'll work out what's appropriate, and what's not.
