Hey there guys,

I guess there arent much of you there left who are still using Nokia Symbian phones, but I have to stick to my x6 since i can't afford Android or any other phone in particular at the moment. The thing is, i'd like to install a proper custom firmware (CFW) for my phone that would look neat, go smooth and wouldn't have compatibility problems, such as problems installing apps from Ovi Store and so on. I tried the following CFW:

Symbian Anna CFW for X6 - doesn't work smooth enough and is buggy.
Skyfire Redefined - everything would be perfect but there are some annoying mendatory apps that get installed and that you cant shut down, also not compactible with ovi suite.
GingerDust - Compatibility issues, bugs.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks.

I would restore to original firmware, but the problem is that it doesnt allow to install non signed apps, which is a problem and has various certificate issues. Can you guys give me a solution?

This is not piracy at all. Custom firmwares are not forbidden, you may install one and use it. You do lose the warranty though.

Same applies on Android phones. For almost every Android phone, there is at least 2-3 custom ROMs, that are released to public. For free. There are no laws blocking such things.

As Janar already pointed out CFW for phones is not illegal, it only voids warranty. And since my Nokia x6 is ancient, i have nothing to loose :D. And the original FW is just terribly wrong.
