If you make your RPs strict you make the server strict around you.

Someone have to start. How about the you, as the author of this topic, start it?
There are no bad role-play scenarios. As a good role-player you are supposed to role-play in every situation, regardless how other player's are acting.

This is honestly the best and simple way to word this. If you experience a lack of roleplay, its on you not the server. I had quite a load of fun last time I was on IV:MP with Hess and Janek, don't know how anyone could really miss out to be honest.

I was just like you. Adapt to the atmosphere around here and then study it. After this fact I opened two RP factions and I intend to open another one lol. It's not that tough, patience is the key. Take Twister as an example motherf**ker xDDD

As a good role-player you are supposed to role-play in every situation, regardless how other player's are acting.

Regardless how the other player's are acting ? You mean when I try to roleplay some guy with a bus comes and rams me like it's the end of the world and I'm a freaking zombie ? Roleplay with a polish guy that's saying "I is roleplaying" ? Yea...you try that....Tried it, didn't work....

The Roleplay is everywhere.
What I mean to say is that there are two factions of players..The one who Roleplay and other who don't(They come in to distress themselves)

If you want to Roleplay you'll have to search for them..And by a 2 days experience won't help you that much..Play for a week and  achieve your Passport and License then you'll notice the roleplay.

You don't have to.
Just call for Emergency Services such as Paramedic..They'll surely come and Roleplay Healing your injuries.

The "Argonath RPG" server is a bit of Freeroam..
Converting your IRL into In-Game habits.

We have passport for you to become a citizen and able to purchase house/businesses(LIke IRL)
And License to be able to own your own cars (Still like IRL)

@revents u should difference between rulebreakers, like the busrammer ( what the /report command is for ) , new freeroamers who didnt get that your words to him are in roleplay manner and, in example,  the guy who sit next to gas station with his (police)car, waiting for a random roleplay situatiuon in which he can rescue, rob, or selling u drugs. but may he is the same way unsure with who he can roleplay or not.

as told, after some time on server u will see  with whose players u can start roleplays and with whos not.

The server came back just 1 month ago, after 1 week, server became shown in server list, this led a huge rush of ivmpers into argonath who actually doesnt know anything about rp cos as we all know, there is o proper server to rp(at least can say no international server). So these ppl just dont know what to do, how to have fun.. So they just come to freeroam, killing eachother or copbaiting etc. So there is the problem: A player who is willing to rp just cant find anybody to rp because lots of ppl are still new to "RP" . They just dont know how can they have fun by that way.

I remember when I was newbie, wasnt messing to crowd much and actually knew nothing about rping. I was just going in scripted jobs and doing jobs to earn some money. As the time passes, I started to see how ppl are rping little things/jobs etc. while they were rping, I was standing near em and following what was happening all the time. By that way I started to rp and actually learned how to have fun by doing that. Lol at first I was like "wth are we doing lol" then time passed and here I am, still in this server cos I know how I can have fun by rping.

The point is, new players who are willing or not willing have to see some rp examples to learn how to rping. Then they just gonna start to try theirself, or if not interested with roing, gonna leave server. As veterans/regulars ourjob is to welcome every rp try we face with and actually make em see that actually its fun and its possible. I rarely roleplay with new players and mostly if I find a scenario in my head I just try to do it with some old player that I know they gonna respond positively to my rp attempt. What I really care while rping is to show as much new players as I can to show em some examples.

Some days ago I made Casper to send a message to some high rank LCPD member meaning that some truck in dukes was transporting drugs. By that way, I saw mihail just warned all cops through radio and a rp began when we faced with each other. After an hardly done rp (sadly due to carkillers/cophunters[RIP 5 cops, this country will remember u xD] I saw that some ppl were actually willing to rp, yes a basic one but at least its something for our new players.

All in all, what I mean is, just find some ppl, with including some ppl who rp willing and start to rp with them, saying "no one is rping" wont help anything. You just have to start to walking on the path, to have followers with you.

Lol I also hate to start a rp all the time , I just wish someone who will properly rp include me in a rp but eh, none gonna try, but as long as I keep displaying examples, I know at least a little part of the players will be willing to ro and try about that.

as many people state here we aint known to have script to babysit you and that aint our goal eather, when you want to roleplay your only limit in our server is your imagination, so do whatever you want as long it's inside our server rules. And when you find out what argonathrpg is about, you also find out why we are called ''the world of it's own!''
