Not really, I was against the reset for RS3, and I'd only been on SAMP for under 5 months at that point.
I could make the exact same (since proven as correct) arguments as I did six years ago, but at the end of the day the reset is happening so that's that.
Following the timescale of RS3, with some optimism thrown in, it'll probably take until about 2015 that people have money to roleplay with. That's only like a year of money grubbing, if there are more scripts & systems in place to make money this time around.

tl;dr It'll be fine, the server will recover eventually just like with RS3/4.

I approve a reset cuz I lost all my cash in casino!!

On a serious note, I think its good to have a reset.
Veteran players stick to their properties without being active which doesn't give others an opportunity to join it.
In fact the 3 month limit should be 1 month, but seeing devs already have something better, so we'll see how it works.

If your group has a HQ, I think the devs gonna hold it for a certain time for you to earn enough cash for the value. If you're not active enough, too bad. If you're active, then you deserve it back.

If your group is official, and you just want to keep the properties without doing shit, that's selfish and I find it extremely reasonable what the HQ is doing bout this.
