Just keep all the give away money-sort of activities away from the new scripts and its features. Let people actually work for their money this time. Raise the roleplay level instead.

In RS3/4, money giveaways were the only thing giving the server an economy to speak of.

Hopefully this time around there are more script-based money fountains.

This. RS4 money making is limited to drugs, real estates, loans and businesses rest doesn't need to be included since you aren't going to become a millionare by extinguishing fire around the map.

I beg to differ, I made 250k in a few days putting out fires, would have probably been a million within a week or two.

None of those were even money fountains, except for when they started trading drugs out of the server for money a few years back to make them have a use. Money fountains are when the scripts create money and it enters the economy. Real estate and businesses and stuff are player to player transactions.

Actually quite possible in one week, there is a fire mission roughly once per 30 minutes, given a few estimates you can make no more than $1,680,000 per week ($240,000 per day) doing fire missions. Ofc this estimate includes not missing a single fire mission and doing more than 50% of the work to finish the mission.

As you can see what Janek said, this is an announcement topic. So please, by all means, show some respect towards Janek, as he is a forum admin. As disrespect towards other players of this community, including admins, is not tolerated.

Let me ask you guys something, I was around with the last BETA-version of RS 4.0 and I think it's the purpose to test the scripts as much as possible. Now I see some admins, manager and others posting about being banned if you break the rules, one of these rules is "no bug abusing"....

But how am I supposed to test as MUCH as possible if I am limited to test without abusing bugs? I mean it's not with our main account I guess? And every bug we find and abuse ... can be FIXED, so that's only for a good purpose....

I mean DMing and stuff should not be done, nor should hacks be allowed, even though it's good to test the anti-hack system but that should be done by admins (as the can see the messages too).

Can someone clear this up?
