Exterminator if you buy a budget card you will be really disappointed and will upgrade in a couple of months :)

No mate, definitely a big no... You have a nice set of CPU and you'll get to kill it with an 64bit GPU like this.. Better save up for something better! at least one 128bit gpu!

Well i seem to have found a relatively cheap version on a Indian site, but the reviews say that they use "Cheap plastic"

"I did not order this product from flipkart but i would like to clear some points so it will be easy for others to make the purchase.

1) The image they have displayed is of another model. There are TWO models with the same name "SAPPHIRE HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB GDDR5" even on the manufacturers website. You will be getting the second model which is smaller and not the one which is shown in the image. If possible website manager should replace this image with the other one to clear the confusion.
2) Your Catalyst Control Center will detect this as 7700 Series GPU. See carefully its 7700 SERIES which means your GPU belongs to 7700 series. For actual model, you can use other apps like GPU-Z.
3) They have used cheap plastic... like seriously. I am comparing this to my old cards. Both cover and the circuit board plastic seems cheap so i advise you to use Sapphire TRIXX utility and use custom fan control to keep the temperatures at bay. Example : 0-40dc temp : 30% fanspeed, 40-70dc temp : 30%-100% fanspeed, 70-100dc temp : 100% fanspeed. Yes this will reduce fans life but i would gladly trade my fans life for chips life anytime. Its easy to replace the fan than the burnt chip.

Other than that, its a decent model."

Other reviews also state that the version isn't the one they ordered, but other than that everybody does seem to love the card. I think i may be able to squeeze for it, should i?

Well, which should i go for?

There's one from sapphire where reviews say that they got another card and apparently some plastic problems
Or should i go for "PowerColor AMD/ATI HD 7770 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card"? (Only neg. review here says that it doesn't support crossfire)

It is a 4$ more expensive, should i go for it?
"1000 MHz GPU Clock Speed
PCI-E 3.0 x16 Bus Standard
Shader Version 5.0
1 GB GDDR5 Memory
3D Vision Support
2560 x 1600 Maximum Digital Resolution
450 W Power Supply Required"0

You will get great performance on either of the 2, the differences are probably too small too notice so go with which one you feels right for you :D

If you don't have 2 slots for 2 cards and don't plan on using Crossfire, (or getting 2 cards to begin with), then don't worry too much about the lack of Crossfire support. That is meant for linking 2 ATI/AMD video cards together and using them as one.

Well sadly i can't afford either :/

There's a 16$ diff. between them but i don't have a 6 pin :/ (And i literally don't even have two four pin to use in a converter). Buying a PSU adds another 50$ which i can't go for.

Can i substitute the 7750?

Beware cheap power supplies. They are often not very stable.

Massive fail before..

Anyways.. Try to get a 500 serie.. GTX is prefered and the price is not that high. Your CPU bottlenecks your CPU. Is this your actual current build btw with that I7 ?

Well i finally decided to go with the 7750, MASSIVE GPU power.I'm running all my games at max settings. There is one problem though, the PC itself seems to be slower.
It takes an entire second for chrome to open up, and everything else just feels..slow..

Any ideas what could be causing that?

Well, getting a 7770 is still a really tight squeeze for me and i'm not sure i can make it.

Would the 6670 be able to scale nicely?I googled up the tech. comparison of the two cards, but i really need to know whether a I7 + 6670 can run current games at low, and if it is future proof for atleast one or two years
Just drop the i7, go for i5 instead. What do you even need an i7 for? o.O
