We leave the topic unlocked because unlike other communities we do not disallow people to challenge our ideas and discuss.
Argonath RPG offers the freedom to disagree with the owners and staff, and as long as it is done more or less respectful we will read your arguments and reply with ours. Sure we can tell that if you do not like it you have the possibility to leave. But that does not mean we feel the need to cut off your right of expressing your opinion.

That is what makes Argonath unique, as in as good as any other community similar topics would be removed or locked, giving people who are new the idea everyone agrees on all counts.
We are aware people use this against us at times, throwing negtivity around to show to others how much we don't care. The point is we care enough to let people speak their minds. That in the end we make the decisions is because we are owners, not because we do not care.

They aren't posting arguments, they are moaning about something that they haven't tried. I've been on Rs5 daily, i can say that most of the people that are posting here have just been in the server barely for minutes and others haven't even register there.
They are complaining about the BETA stage of the server, clearly this has nothing to do with the fact that the new script it's hard to understand and actually it isn't, it's just new, and like anything else, you need to get to use to it to understand it, but they aren't giving themselves the chance to do it, they prefer to stay stuck in the wall only to keep an virtual house and an infernus.

It's hard to change something that you were to used to for years, i know, but like everything else, the server needs to improve himself, and the community staff/owners is giving us the chance to fulfill this progress. I think that we should give them the deserved respect for their hardwork and also, give a chance to the RS5 server.

I await the day that those preaching for the return of the RS4 server actually play on RS5 and bother to understand the server before writing it off in their books.
Systems may change however it's still an Argonath roleplay server at the end of the day.

Okay, i wrote something yesterday but got deleted cause i was a bit pissed and had some flaming but not towards the community, anyway...

I don't really understand people are acting like this towards RS5, what's the problem of having RS5 and RS4, it's really weird how people are reacting against it.I saw around forums that the reaction towards RS4 when it got released was the same, well i can't make that sure cause i was not a part of Argonath that year RS4 was released but seriously, can't u people give RS5 a chance.Just go and play it till February and if u don't like it, than start writing here again.
For the people that don't like it, now the RS5 Beta is in a better way that it was at the first release of Beta of RS5, go ahead and try it but don't forget it is still in BETA stage so it still have some more bugs which we players didn't found yet, so please instead of typing things here go ahead and try it, and help this community become better instead making this community going low and low.
So please go ahead and try the server once and try to help us.

400 Euros is equivalent to $603 Australian Dollars, for scale the absolute minimum wage in Australia is $640 Australian Dollars for 5 days (Think McDonalds). By comparison I'm a part time University student who makes $720 for 3 days work with no relevant qualifications in the field I work in, I can see where you're coming from with this comment.

I can appreciate why you're against RS5; but honesty I think we all just need more time to get used to the idea of a new script.

For a start, You should take a look at pricing, If you HONESTLY Have been told that's the pricing, I can buy a server with 200 slots running 24/7 with DDOS protection for about $40-50 a month.

Considering 400€ Isn't alot, It'd be something I'd look into doing, yes, As I discussed with managers already.

Correct, Many of us did complain about the delay in RS5's release, the problem is the fact that MOST features were kept secret, we were waiting to see what the server was like, we played it, and we dislike it, there only has and ever will be ONE rs4, and they've taken that away.

Stop talking for the enire community. You're taking your Alfonso Group as something that's the most important thing in the Argonath. Seriously, Alfonso equals 20 people, while the whole community of Argonath SAMP RPG equals to above one thousand, I believe. Anyways, so, you want to downgrade? You guys are complaining about something that you did not even try out properly yet. Yes, it's difficult, the new system is confusing, because IT'S NEW. What did you expect RS5 to be? RS4.2? Seriously?
Just stop trying.. I don't even understand why developers are even paying attention to this crap. When RS3 was switched to RS4, everyone were being asses about it as well, but then after a while, nobody wanted RS3 back, and most of these people who complained were leaders of criminal groups who were afraid of competition - everyone starts from zero, which means that some new criminal organisations can actually toss them down the crime ladder. Same in this case, the only ones moaning are people from notorious criminal organisations, everyone else is more than happy with RS5. Just lock this already and issue warnings to anyone who tries to opening such nonsense topics again.
