About forum account delete option.

I used a couple of times that option, but it is useless. It says "Please note that the forum moderators will have to approve this account's deletion before it will be removed." and when will it be? I was waiting for months but nothing of that. When will forum moderators look at forum accounts? or they don't even look? If you did clearing accounts for RS5 you could do this also.

...and yes i needed to open topic about that because i didn't find anything similar.

Theres no need to delete your account is there. If you don't want to use your account anymore, don't use it.

There is no reason for accounts to be deleted, except for deception of players or staff.
By deleting your account yur posts will not be removed, neither will you be able to re-use your e-mail address to appear as a new player.
The single thing it will accompliah is that you can no longer login. And if you do not wish to login, all you need to do is not visit here....

Well I'd like to change this forum account's name to "Hugo." but there's my old one which already goes by that name. I'd like to delete the old one for that reason.

I've recovered accounts of mine that have not been used for over a year. If you wanted the old username that bad, then it won't be so hard to ask for help from management to get it back, if you can prove it was you. There's the email recovery option too.
