So i was about to play need for speed : world which is currently avaible for free in origin. I last ran it on win 7 and upgraded to win 8 pro recently when i try to run it, it shows the error given in attach ment. Please help me guys i tried reinstalling, I have direct x 11, vc redist,.netframwork 4.5 and i do have the required specs for running this game......any fixes?

It would not be the first time I've run across such detailed descriptions. :lol:

If Janar's suggestion does not work, you may have to reinstall the game from scratch. It is possible that another dependency included with the installer may have been removed when you upgraded your OS, or became corrupted and the installer thinks it is still fully installed.

Check how to switch of DEP (Data encryption protection) in windows 8.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

Ah, that is a good point. I forgot about DEP. It often raises hell for us with GTA3:MTA/MTA:VC too, on some systems...
