Even though these 2 have no direct connection with the screenshot feature, it is worth to try.

1) Try updating DirectX.
2) Try updating graphics drivers.

What I also found from SA-MP forums, was that certain resolutions may be causing such issue. Have you tried changing game resolution?

(Temporary) alternative, if you use Windows 8 or 8.1, is to use Windows key + Print screen button. It is OS built-in feature to save screenshots into C:\Users\{USER}\Pictures\Screenshots.

I know the solution.

If you are using Windows 8 or 8.1 I had this problem playing GTA on my laptop, the problem is simple and the solution is simple.

With the new SA:MP, it doesn't let you save screenshots unless you have it at your native resolution. For example, if your max screen resolution on your monitor / laptop is 1920x1080 you MUST play with 1920x1080 resolution if you want to screenshot. Otherwise it will show "Unable to save screenshot."

Simple solution is just to switch to your max / native resolution whenever you want to F8, or use a separate program to screenshot.

Hope this helps, let me know if it works. ;)

I have updated DirectX and my graphics drivers. Still i'm not able to take screenshot. However, I have changed my game resolution before, and as I remember before changing my resolution I was able to take screenshot.
Anyways, you act as a great helper. I'll re-install my game, this how my resolution will come back to the original one according to my screen.

For sure, if it would work, I would first post the result.

I have changed my game resolution to 1024 x 768 according to my screen size. Yes, I'm now able to take screenshots.

For others in the future, run SA:MP and GTA:SA as an Administrator through their "Properties" settings. Also, make sure you're not using any texture mods to fix vehicle light colors, as those prevent SA:MP's screenshot feature from functioning correctly.
