Drinking alcohol doesn't make anyone less Muslim. Quran says that alcohol is a sign from god for those who wish to see. (Sura 16 verse 65-68).

I don't see what's wrong or hard with covering yourself from your shoulder to your knees... Just dress modestly. Oh and avoid reciting songs near public places, how hard can that be? Wearing shorts, leggings, singlets etc... is not a necessity in life you know. I'm positive you'll survive without it.

Moreover, I heard that they will permit alcohol consumption during the event. Specific fan-zones will be established where alcohol can be bought. Good news for the English huh! :P

The decision to give Qatar the World Cup (even regardless of the fact that it was as a result of corruption) is simply absurd. There's no football tradition present within the country, development of football is practically non-existent and then there's the extreme heats. Couple this with the fact that you're going to have to cover yourself as if it's winter, and you see the problem. Suppose you could just always cool yourself off with a nice, crisp beer... oh... wait.

Blatter has already admitted it was a mistake and is now trying to cover his sorry ass. FIFA need to get him removed and stage a re-vote for both 2022 and 2018. I'd certainly like to see Australia given the event - a nation with ever-growing interest in the sport.

Everyone is forced to comply with their rules, whether they came to watch football or not. It's their land, and their laws. Why the big deal? Are you there to model your clothes? Check girls out? Show YOUR abs?
No god damn it, the whole purpose of this is to watch football, cheer for your team and enjoy it. I'm sure whatever you wear won't  conflict with the "purpose" huh?

 Oh and please don't throw that "It's too hot" crap, nobody is forcing you to show up wearing a jacket. A t-shirt will do just fine.
