So, since Steam has the game on sale i may consider buying it, is the starter edition worth the 5 euros discount compared to the standard? I'd like to know if unlocking other operators is going to be a pain in the ass or not by buying the starter edition (I did read the differences but i want to know it from a player side too)

Hope Teddy doesn't read this, he'd suggest you buy the 320948€ master edition 

I got the Starter Edition on 14/06/2016 and paid it the same, whilst the full game was around 30-40€. For 5€ difference I'd tell you to go for the full edition since unlocking operators takes a good while.

Cool operators and balanced
good anti cheat system and strict rules for teamkiling or other cheats

Takes quite a grind. I unlocked all the operators just recently on lvl 140. I was only missing Frost and decided its better idea to buy three 25k weapon skins.. was i wrong. That shotgun of hers, beast.

Anyways. Probably could have got them all much earlier if i didnt buy skins, but either way dont expect to unlock them all by the 110th level or so, specially with new operators coming.

Well I'd say go for the full edition if you want to play as all operators. I bought the starter edition when it came out like a year ago and it was kinda frustrating when the team picked the operators from the starter one and I was left with the recruit (you can still pick all the weapons as the recruit but you get like 1 reinforced wall instead of 2 like with a normal operator). And sure you can grind to unlock all operators with renown but I saw a youtuber do a video about it and its about 250k renown to unlock all of them and consider you get like 100 - 400 renown depending on how good you perform on a game (- the bonus ones on challenges) it's gonna take you a good amount of time to unlock them all. I ended up buying season pass on discount on G2A and I do not regret it since I can play as whoever I want now.

But it all comes down to how much grind you want to put in the game and how interested you are in trying out all operators, that's what I think atleast.

haha fuck SessionPass, i unlocked all operators by myself, and i got 2 (7 days) reown boosters and i earned so much that i unlocked them all and bought stuff.

Only thing i paid for is the platinum skin and that was around 5 euro
