Mac cant be compared as only Apple uses it and obviously they wont charge themself for their own OS. Windows is available for free for device with screen size less than 9 inches (Windows RT and Windows Phone). Windows RT has the same productivity as that of Chrome OS (except that it lacks apps which the threshold will hopefully fix). Then there's full blown Windows with Bing which is also free. Its default search engine cant be changed and will only be provided to manufacturers. So yeah, there is Windows for free.

I too love the integration of my Windows devices ^_^

Bing steals search results from Google. Google setup a trap and caught them red handed a few years ago. See Microsoft hasn't deviated from their initial startup success methods.

Chromebook is nice as well; I have one as well as a MacBook. Chromebooks will also natively support Android apps soon which is pretty sweet.

Which chromebook do you have? I'm thinking of getting one for school, since I don't want to waste 800€ on a good win 8.1 laptop

Windows too.. Kind of with universal apps..:jackson:
Besides, the merger of RT and Phone will make it really universal. (W8 apps work on WP8 and vice versa).

Android Developer L

How are you liking L? I'm blown away by it. A really impressive job by the Android team.

I have no complaints.. while I do wish I got a larger screen-size; everything else is fantastic. I do online school so I use it for that mostly and it was defiantly worth the buy.

Android L is sweet like apple pie!

For daily use, i'm running Cyanogenmod 11 (some nightly build from last week) based off Android 4.4.4. I have some kernel edits which i find handy, but nothing special.

Wouldn't say blown away by it, I've had a few problems.

For example, sometimes if you attempt to launch an app from a notification or swiping it left or right for the phone or camera will cause it to bug up and lock itself again instantly afterwards, and if you attempt it more than once your wallpaper will be changed to the default. The only way I've found to fix that problem is by restarting my phone.

To be honest the only real changes I've seen compared to stock is the GUI and a few very minor items compared to what they showed off in the developer preview videos. Like, they haven't even put in the new interfaces for the Google apps, like the new Music, Book and Store ones.
