DVD-RW drive not working

I just noticed that my disc driver will not work.
I noticed it just now because i barely even use it, as a heavy steam/online distribution user.
Simply put, i insert a CD-ROM, or any other disc inside the tray, and wont do anything, or show up on my computer > removable devices. heck, the disc wont even spin.
I know that it is clean and connected properly to everything, as i just last month cleaned my pc of dust and debris.
If anybody needs any more information about my hardware, go ahead and ask.
P.S. yes, i updated all the drivers

Same here,mine isn't working as well cause i stopped using it and now i have the exact same problems as u do

Try opening the CPU Cover and entighten the cables while relates to DVD-RW Drive.

As tight as it can be, still doesn't read the discs.
Also when i click on "DVD-RW(D:)" in "my computer" it says "please insert a disc" and opens my tray.

Does the disc drive's light come on when starting up the computer?
