Roleplaying problems...

1. Kidnapping...

The problem is not that it is abused a lot - endless, almost every gang, 2-3 times in a row...
You should understand several things... First of all the person whom you kidnap, will not have any nice action as sit as mushroom and watch the negotiations... So this will "eat" his time on server...
Second is that every player has his own plans and roleplay and when "kidnappers" are coming - they actually ruin the person's roleplay...
Third - dunno why it is popular - attempts to kidnap admins and developers... I understand you all wanna roleplay with administration as well, but please, understand also that admins have no a lot of possibilities (every spectating returns them on spawn point), and developers as well... Usually we are coming to relax, have fun and test the scripts, that are adding all the time lil by lil...

Solution: Before kidnapping anyone - ASK if the player is "free" to roleplay with others...

2. PMs to the developers/admins...

This is a really annoying... We have three options of chat and of cos adding the new /pm ID text is not the best way to talk to us... Use phones, use roleplay - asking for meeting or local chat... You should understand that we do read text and should also see IDs, sitting on server and scrolling by pageup pagedown - does not bring us relaxation as well...

If you have bugs report - report in PM on forums - the best way to attract our attention and for us to remember...

3. /ad command...

Some of you noticed already that I started warning players, who put advertisements like:

- Selling drugs, contact
- Where is my car, contact
- How to get on Party, contact
- He is ramming me, contact
- Illegal races, contac

Do NOT use advertisement for Illegal things... Advertisement is a "National TV", so use it more correct...
Do NOT bring server to cops vs robbers only...
As you should notice we are a lil other style of roleplaying vision...

4. Flame...

This is a tragedy for server... Why cannot you just be friends or at least polite to each other? What is the use of connecting to server to get negative emotions? As the problem with most of cheaters gone away, Admins now will concentrate on THIS kind of players... Those who flame others, disrespect, starting some wars with each other...

5. Limo taxi drivers...

Haha? We ordered a limo drivers several times... Telling to go here or there - they have no idea... The roleplaying with drivers is for us a real help (developers)... We can waste more time on answering questions, while other guys are driving around, and of cos some way to earn you money... Now please think - we order a limo and then sit and type where to turn...
My suggestion - do not know the places/areas - please avoid... Ask for some other jobs or go to Police force, while patrolling - will learn areas...

6. Police forces...

On all country - one cop - this is shortly about the situation... Where are others? Cops give an element of action... Right what the game needs... Without cops it is boring and not funny (I do not talk only about chases)...
We have plans to get some famous criminals - we have no cops to do it... I heard tons complains on applications I do not see a lot of those who applied - in a police forces on server...
Applied? Wanna join? then play as cops... Only in such way you will be NOTICED...

7. Criminals...

From what I saw - mostly hit and run... To get wanted level and lets go changing cars... Surrender mostly only admins... Others - nah, better jump from car to car... Well, server is not stable, as longer chase - more chances the criminal will be crashed... You want chases and fun in fighting? Then for god sake - fight or surrender... Probably this situation with criminals mostly killed the interest in players to play a police force...

I would like to tell my opinion about it if you don't mind (otherwise delete this post)

1. Kidnapping..
mostly when I say to players I don't have mood today to RP kidnapping or I'll quit soon, they understand that and leaves you alone, that's what I appreciate much.
2. PMs to the devs..
well, it could be a solution to ask about the meeting, but mostly ppl don't get any answere.. So maybe that's why they are asking on PMs. I do understand that Devs has many things to do when they are online, but there must be some way out, don't you think so?
4. Flame..
about flaming on server there should be a explanation added, coz not everyone understands the this word and when you say to him "you are flaming, pls stop it", you get an answere "I don't see any flaming".
5. Limo taxi drivers..only with patrolling as a cop you cant remember so good places that you do when you RP as a driver. Of course, if a players doesn't know the places well, the fee should be much lower setted.
6. Police forces..
police officers are waitting for training mostly that Kaltsu promissed to all. Also the recruiting to cadets stopped for now, coz the training isn't ready yet, and that makes ppl a lil despondent..
7. Criminals..in Argonaths RPG rules there is point about "FOR ONE CHASE CRIMINAL CAN CHANGE ONLY 5 CARS". I think it should be changed coz it's comfortable to criminals and they are not guilty if running away and changing all those cars.

I've been thinking about some of the points you mentioned aswell.

1. Kidnapping - Sure, it is a good way to earn money and it can be good roleplaying, but I agree, it is not fun that you are getting kidnapped 5 times everyday. Each kidnapping usually takes 30 minutes or even longer. Atleast I could use that time better - I have come to a decision that I will tell every kidnapper that I am busy if they don't PM me about it first - no matter am I busy or not - no matter is it bad roleplaying or not.

2. Flame - It is sad to see that several regular players often have bad mouth. Also, if people want to talk bad words as a part of roleplaying, remember to keep it in roleplaying chats, not the main chat. Of course, there must be a limit, people can't go and badmouth everyone and say "I am roleplaying that I am angry man."

3. Limo / Taxi Drivers - I agree, if driver doesn't know the area, he should get other job.

4. Police Forces - I think we need the well trained cops faster. I have faith in Kaltsu and believe that he can do good things with ARPD, but honestly said, I am starting to lose my faith - I haven't even seen him online on Argonath for many weeks. I know & understand that he is busy with real life, going to 2 schools same time and so on, but atleast he could leave a message about it. Oh well, I hope that ARPD gets active soon. I know that I am not very active cop player myself either, but I don't have that much time for playing at all, so I'll rather use that little time for watching over the server and helping newer players.

I believe the 5 Car Rule was to do with MTA, correct? Where there was no Pay n' Sprays. Technically, I could use the equivalent of 20+ Car Healths per Car if I was good enough to reach a Pay n' Spray 20 times.

And as for the ARPD situation.. I think many people were annoyed that they had been in ARPD for many months, often more than half a year, and now.. Oops! Suddenly they aren't in ARPD anymore, and nobody is answering Applications. Also, Luca has chosen to stagnate the LSPD of half the Server's best cops with the Gang policy. This policy also annoyed many people, and they choose not to be a Cadet, and therefore not to be anything.
The drop in Cop amounts is also attributable to the fact that in the old Scripts, cops were a spawn option. Now, players spawn in their own skin (which, by the way, is great), and must travel to PD to become a Cop. Also, if they Crash they sometimes have to go a long way back (often not able to drive their Police Car) to a PD to become a cop again.

haha i think the limo thing ur refering to me...today i picked up u gandalf and scotty, u said go to transfender to spray it black, i said ok and i didnt know where it was drove around a bit said where is it u said a place which didnt know aswell. was very funny when i was stopping at lights u guys just got out of my car hahahaha. sorry about that i was so pressured.

In my opinion it is a good decision that gang / mafia members can't be ARPD officers.
Atleast I wouldn't feel very safe if I saw that members of a scary mafia are working for the police departments.

Well, Many of the ppl dont know what Flaming is, a tip to let ppl know, when new ppl register they will get a quick tutorial of stuffs they need to know :P haha

Atleast I wouldn't feel very safe if I saw that members of a scary mafia are working for the police departments.

By the way, in case you haven't noticed, several players have gotten answers to their applications, atleast from LSPD and LVPD.

Because ArgonathRPG is not a real-life (one character) role play server, i dont support to make such rule to gang members can not join to ARPD. With such rule we would just block the players to role-play that, whatever they want. Argonath players can role-play gang members, or fellow officers too.

For example if you see a player with "_Corleone" tag in his name, that just shows he has such role-play character who is part of a criminal organisation. But it doesnt mean that he is role-playing mafia member 0/24 a day.

 I agree with Hank, a couple days ago I did /changename from Bryant_Corleone to Officer_Bryant I the day before I figured out that I could use ARPD skins, and I thought I was in ARPD.. I guess not. Luca said I am no longer ARPD, I think its unfair because I joined ARPD in March and now I am not ARPD and none of my forms on the ARPD site were being answered.

 Luca man, you are the main reason there is not much cops on server I just have to say... Telling me that you kick me because I was in ARPD skin and because scripts did it.. wow man good job.

I support Hanks opinion about the whole ARPD story. I don't know why a good RPer cannot play as member of a mafia/gang/group and as officer.
Lets take Hank as example if i am allowed to do so:
If he plays with his name Hank_Rafferty, he is rping a perfect officer. He explains other people how to improve their experience as cop, he is just doing a great hob.
If he isn't in the mood to play as officer, he is using his name Vice911, a dangerous criminal.
Well i don't know, i think everybody shall have the same right to chose the RP skin he wants to use.

 Who was the abuser? Shut the fuck up Mumin unless you can add a story or something k? I was in the ARPD since March and now I have to sign up again? And even I try to sign up but no one cared to look at my form to get into ARPD, and then I find out that server fucked up on me making me a ARPD like I should be anyway... so now what I do? I never can be a cop now? Because of a server problem and some bull

Well, ppl have to do the test again, and u where not in ARPD? and as u said u could have ARPD skin? but u wasnt in ARPD, thats was a glitch, and u abused it :S
